A small seed in a big pot

A Big Little Life Lesson about growth

A blue background. In the middle is an illustrated plant with orange leaves and a blue pot.

A small seed in a big pot.

That’s how it all begins.

A seed becomes a branch, becomes a leaf, becomes a plant.

A natural progression as small becomes big.

But as the expansion continues, the growing comes to a halt.

By the lack of space. By the lack of soil.

The pot that helped us grow from small to big, the walls that used to hold us up, are now boxing us in.

A pot too small.

Soil without nutrients.

Nowhere to go. No way to grow.

Once we run out of room to expand, the only way to keep growing is to plant ourselves in a bigger pot.

If we want to keep growing.

If we want to keep going.

A small seed on a big pot is part of the  Big Little Life Lessons series. With a different approach to bedtime stories, Big Little Life Lessons brings you the thoughts, theories, and teaching for children growing up and adults growing out. Our human virtues tend to take a backseat in a world that speeds up and speeds past us as we try to make sense of the constant noises of everyday life. These big little life lessons aim to bring perspective to everyday experiences and helps you connect with your kids while connecting
back to yourself after a long day of distraction and routine.

Dealing with a world that is ever changing requires reminders of how life can be simple if we let it.

It’s lessons we keep learning. Lessons we keep living.
